The building is entirely made out of wood, a sustainable renewable material. It provides a nice indoor climate.
Oude Noorden (Old Nord) is an intriguing and lively neighborhood where old traditions blend with new developments, making it a unique place to live in and visit in Rotterdam.youll find a mix of old townhouses, renovated warehouses, and modern apartments. The neighborhood boasts several squares, parks, and streets lined with shops, cafes, and restaurants. One of its most famous spots is Zwaanshals, a street renowned for its boutiques, design stores, and artisanal products. At Bakkit, for example, you can get delicious baked goods depending on the season, and at Holy Ravioli you can enjoy, as the name gives away, Ravioli and other Italian delights. Every Saturday at Noordplein there is a farmers market ‘Rotterdamse Oogst’ with beautiful local products.
