In the Vogelwijk you'll find your own bakery within walking distance on the Mezenplein. Residents often do their shopping in the area, such as on the Goudsbloemlaan and the Fahrenheitstraat. The Frederik Hendriklaan - better known as 'De Fred' - is 5 to 10 minutes by bike. For a snack and drink you can also go to one of the beach tents, or to the boulevard of Kijkduin.
